Incisive, impish, hot-tempered, but also lyrical, mysterious and joyful, such are the moods of the two protagonists of this duo. Through jerky rhythms, obsessive repetitions or merely some of the flowing melodies of the score, they will manage to convey to us a large dose of vitality.

This is a fine duo of considerable verve and intelligent discourse. Few so-called "contemporary" techniques, but enlightened musical language enhanced by numerous dynamic and rhythmical contrasts, and clever interweaving of timbres.
This distinctive piece, which  requires expressive commitment throughout, is the fruit of a very young composer's imagination and is worth more than a simple musical detour.
